PriceGlitch ("we", "us", or "our") operates priceglitch.live. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate newsletters, giveaways, and basic deal-link reporting:

Email address — provided when you subscribe to our newsletter
Name — provided when you enter a giveaway or contact us
Reddit username — provided when a giveaway requires a Reddit entry to be verified
Subscription date and status — when you subscribed and whether you've unsubscribed
Referral source — where you came from (e.g., Reddit, Telegram) if included in the link you clicked
Deal click data — which deals you click on, stored anonymously to help us understand what's popular
Website analytics data — anonymous page views, product-page views, retailer clicks, newsletter signups, referral source, campaign labels, and referring domain. A one-way identifier derived from request signals is used to estimate unique visitors; raw IP addresses are not stored for this reporting
Giveaway verification data — confirmation status, entries, referral code, an irreversible IP hash, and limited browser information used to reduce duplicate or fraudulent entries

We do not collect payment-card information. Additional information is collected only when you provide it voluntarily or when it is necessary to operate a feature you choose to use.

How We Use Your Information

To send you our newsletter with deals, price glitches, and steals
To send you a one-time confirmation email when you subscribe
To honor unsubscribe requests
To understand which deals resonate with our audience (anonymously)
To administer giveaways, verify required actions, prevent abuse, and select winners

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

Affiliate Links

Many links on this site and in our emails are affiliate links. This means if you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the newsletter free. We only recommend deals we'd genuinely share regardless of commission.

Cookies

PriceGlitch does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. First-party session storage may retain referral and campaign labels during your visit so actions such as retailer clicks and newsletter signups can be attributed to the channel that brought you to the site. Essential session or security storage may also be used for administrative and interactive site features.

Data Storage

Your email address is stored securely in a MySQL database hosted on Hostinger servers. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls.

Giveaway records are retained as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, verify results, address disputes, and comply with applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion unless retention is legally required.

Your Rights

Unsubscribe: Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it permanently removes you from our list.
Data deletion: To have your email address permanently deleted from our records, email us at hello@priceglitch.live.
Access: You can request to know what data we hold about you by emailing us.

CAN-SPAM Compliance

In accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act:

Every email includes a clear unsubscribe link
We honor unsubscribe requests promptly
We do not use misleading subject lines
Our physical mailing address is included in every commercial email

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the newsletter after changes constitutes acceptance.
