Hands-on review
PriceGlitch or a named contributor physically used the product. The article states how long it was used, the main test conditions, and any important limits in the testing.
Research review
PriceGlitch assessed primary sources, specifications, version differences, current pricing, warranties, and other verifiable information without physically testing the unit. Manufacturer claims are attributed and are not presented as PriceGlitch measurements.
Deal notes
A deal page explains why a price stood out and what shoppers should verify. It is not a product review and does not imply a hands-on recommendation.
Product samples and loans
PriceGlitch may accept temporary loaners or products provided without charge when they help us evaluate something our readers care about. We record the provider, date received, retail value, return terms, testing status, and publication status internally.
- Loaners should include return instructions and prepaid return shipping.
- Unsolicited products may not be reviewed or returned.
- Products cannot be exchanged for guaranteed coverage or a favorable conclusion.
- Embargoes may be considered, but pre-publication approval is not accepted.
- Brands may check factual specifications before publication only when PriceGlitch requests it. They cannot edit opinions or conclusions.
Editorial independence
Coverage decisions are made by PriceGlitch. The retail value of a product, an affiliate program, an advertising relationship, or a brand request does not control whether we publish or what we say.
Sample and affiliate disclosures
When a product was supplied or loaned, the article identifies the company and the nature of the arrangement near the start. A typical disclosure is: “This product was provided by Brand for testing. Brand had no editorial control and did not review the conclusion before publication.”
Affiliate relationships are disclosed separately because a free product and an affiliate commission are different material connections. Links that can earn PriceGlitch a commission are marked and do not increase the reader's price.
Corrections and updates
We correct factual errors and update material product changes. A changed price alone does not alter a product verdict, but a discontinued model, major firmware change, safety issue, or revised specification may require a visible update.

Send concise product-review pitches to dakota@priceglitch.live. Include the product name, retail price, launch date, why it fits PriceGlitch readers, sample or loan terms, return deadline, and a link to official specifications. Do not ship products without written acceptance.
